In June of this year nine senior students from KSV appeared for the Karnataka Sangeet Nitrya Academy music exams. This was the first time that any students from the Kalkeri Sangeet Vidyalaya have sat for these examinations, and we are immensely pleased to announce that all the budding young musicians passed with distinction. The students who undertook this exam were a credit to themselves, their teachers and the school.
Dayanand Sutar who came top in the school with 88% also came out top out of all the candidates in Karnataka State. This is really an amazing achievement and is surely just a taste of things to come from KSV.
